Chorizo and Goats Cheese Frittata

So im in Edinburgh at the moment for the Fringe Festival and my other half needed to use the internet so I thought I would use that time to write a little post...that is nothing to do with Edinburgh.

I made this meal last week for my family and it tasted THAT GOOD I needed to share it with you.
I got the reciepe from the Sorted Food website HERE. I have been a subscriber of theirs on Youtube for a few years now and not only do they teach me how to cook amazing yummy food but they make me chuckle a hell of a lot along the way. You really need to go check them out HERE.

This recepie is bassically Eggs, Chorizo, Goats Cheese and onion! Yep..that simple and it tastes incredible. Since my boyfriend is a veggie im going to try it out with bits of vegetarian sausage too.

Try this recipe then come back and tell me what you thought... I bet you love it too!!! (if you like eggs, chorizo, goats cheese and onion that is!)

mmmmmmmmm...

Presented on a chopping board with a sprig of mint.. Sorted Style!

Server with some potato croquettes.. why not..

Demolished...

Want more recipe posts?!

Have a happy wednesday everyone!

Glossy Box - August 2012

Glossy Box. Monthy subscription £10 plus £2.95 P&P
xciting one! Apart from the Impress nails and the Glossy
Holy Moly This is an eBox lipstick I didnt think it was too thrilling when I opened it. But when I read what the products actually were I was VERY happy and eager to try everything.

ALESSANDRO - Pro White
This is meant to make you nails whiter and disguise and yellow stains. I have only used it once and its nice but not sure if it made them whiter. I need to try it more though before making a firm decision if I like it or not.
DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil
I thought I would hate this but I was pleasantly surprised. I usually use a cream based product to remove my make up so thought this would feel too 'slimey' but its actually not that..erm..oily! I liked it!

BROADWAY NAILS - imPRESS Press-On Manicure
I was on my way to boots to buy these when I saw a sneak peak on this Glossy Box on Fleur's twitter and noticed they came in her box! Sometimes you dont get exactly the same products as everyone else but i thought I would hold out to see if I got the in mine..ohh yeehh I did. Its not the colour I would have gone for but I cant wait to try them out as I have heard SO many good thing about them.

VERA VALENTI - L'ombre a Paupiere Margarita
This reminded me of something I would find in the Cyprus drugstores when I lived over there. I must say..Im not too keen. The colours are pretty but not very pigmented.

LIPCOTE - Lipcote
Hello random new product I had never heard of before!! This is a product you put on your lips after lipstick and it is meant to seal in the lipstick so it doesnt rub off and...IT REALLY WORKS! I was so impressed when I tried this! Although it looks like a nail polish and tastes RANK it really does hold your lipstick on even when you have eaten!

GLOSSYBOX - Lipstick in Glossy Pink
This is the second month we have had an exclusive Glossy Box item. Last month was a handy little compact mirror. Oh wait..I think we got a make up brush before that two. This is a gorgeous colour!! very pigmented and witht the Lipcote over the top it lasts forever! Cant wait to see more of the Glossy Box products!

Over all I am very happy this month..I do feel like Glossy Box are upping their game everytime which makes me even more excited to get next months treats! Keep up the good work Glossy Team!!

Did you get anything different in your boxes?!

Handmade Baby Mobile

My friend Kayleigh is due to have a baby in approximately 6 weeks yet I think I have known since the first day she was pregnant so now it is FINALLY getting closer I was so excited to make something for baby Scarlett. (Yep..Kayleigh has picked the named already and has enough clothes for Scarlett until she is at least 5! Ok that's an exaggeration but she does have clothes ready up to 12 months old! Organised woman!!) I knew that I didnt want to just buy her something because that just wouldnt have been 'Me'. So I took on the challenge of making a baby mobile. As the sex of the baby has been known for a while now I had plenty of time to make it and I knew it had to have pink in it! I opted to go with some birds, trees and flowers on the mobile as "fingers crossed" it goes with Kayleigh and Craigs theme!

The body of the mobile is the inside of an embroidery hoop that was bought from ebay. I used two different sizes and wrapped them both in ribbon. The trees were made first with felt and mini pom poms (to replicate apples). The birds were made again from felt but I added individual beads on the wings and a button for an eye. And for the flower, they were made from felt and a button. I made some mini flowers for the middle hoop but instead of adding buttons for the centre i glued on some bells. All of this was hung on by some pretty  pale blue ribbon.
I enjoyed every moment of making this and hope baby Scarlett enjoys, ermmm, looking at it :)

Heres a few close up pictures...

Yep...I wrapped it up in a Pizza Express box! Its the only box it would fit in! I made it look pretty inside though with tissue paper and shreddings and wrapped it all in hot pink wrapping paper (of course.)

What do you think?
Have you ever made something like this?

V05 Plump Me Up Dry Shampoo

Now I can see this isn't the most excited post in the world but when something works you NEED to tell people! Dry shampoo was an awesome invention! Fact! For those days where you haven't got time to wash, dry and straighten your hair or just when you feel it is getting a tad greasy this product is amazing.

I have tried many dry shampoos in the past such as Tressemme and Batiste which I think are  very good but when I tried this one it took them to a whole different level! First of all the packaging..bright shiny pink?! How can you turn your face at that? I originally bought it because I was staying at my boyfriends and forgot to take some with me. When I nipped out to Boots this was on offer and I am so glad it was other wise I probably would have gone for one I have already tried before.
I have brown hair so the dry shampoos that come out like a white powder are never good... I tried a Superdrug own brand one once that was specifically for dark hair but it made my hair so greasy and looked awful! This V05 one comes out pretty much invisible and the scent it gorgeous! Very fruity but not over powering at all.

I highly recommend this product and think I may go and buy a few back ups :)

You can buy it HERE

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!!
