Winter Nails...

Its coming up to winter so i thought i would share a few of my favourite nail poloish i like to wear on those cold, windy days. 

If you asked any of my friends they would tell you how obsessed, yes obsessed, I am with Barry M Nail Paints. They are affordable, have a brilliant range in colours (and always coming up with more) and the bottles are very sleek. I have around 20 from them as of yet but I'm dying to get my hands on the new silver and gold 'foil' ones...you can get the Nail Paints from Superdrug, Boots or the Barry M website.

Anyway...the four i have picked (from left to right) Navy, Raspberry,Grey and Vivid Purple. Pretty pretty colours! :o)

One Day In Paris...

 Apart from New York being my number one place I want to go to Paris is definitely a close second. When I saw these pictures they immediately made me smile. I would like to go near Christmas time for a weekend. Although it would be an amazing opportunity to buy christmas present *cheeky grin* i think it would be a well deserved break for me and the boyfriend...If not this year then fingers crossed next year.

If anyone has been to Paris what are your recommendations in terms of places to go, things to see, places to eat and hotels to stay in?!

Today has been one of those days where i have just wanted to curl up in bed and stay there for a few days! As i am aware this is not possible I decided to curl up in bed for for a few hours instead. So to cheer me up abit I thought i would make a little wishlist. This way, when i do have money to spend, i will know exactly what I want to buy and not go and waste in on pointless this I don't need which is what normally tends to happen.

My First GlossyBox Experience..

Im sure all of you know what the GlossyBox is about but quickly for those of you who dont GlossyBox is a company where you can pay a subscription of £10 a month (£2.95 for P&P) and recieve 5 sample size luxury items each month to try out and keep. Although sometimes your are lucky enough to get full sized products. So after a while of wondering whether to get it or not i caved in...and it arrived today! EXCITING!!

This is just a little overview of what was in this months GlossyBox. (Sorry about the rubbish lighting in pictures)

It comes in the cutest box ever...

and the products are inside another cute box which is brilliant for other storage afterwards..

this is what it looked like when i opened the box and peeled away the tissue paper..

A Dermalogic mini makeup bag (brilliant for handbags) which i believe was an extra bonus this month.. which i also later discovered there was a mini lip balm inside too..

Overall i am VERY happy with the GlossyBox system and think its an amazing way to try out new products that you either may not have even heard of or are too expensive to test out.

My trip to the zoo...

 So a while back I went to ZSL London Zoo with my boyfriend Luke and it was such a good day. Mainly because they have a new penguin Beach! Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures I took..and of course 90% of them are of penguins!!

 Yep..im a big kid and crawled though a tube to get closer to Merekats. Even though it was made for kids..

 A few of the penguins gathered round waiting for their dinner..

 This is a baby penguins..only a few weeks old. They have to be careful and not let them in the water as they haven't developed waterproof feathers. ..(erm..are they feathers?? I should know this)

 I had such a good time...but the best picture of the WHOLE day was the one below... a lovely monkey decided to come say hello and have a seat...

Good morning, good afternoon or good evening!

Well this is my first post! Exciting times hey.. I will start off with explaining what my blog will hopefully be filled with. I have been a massive fan of the beauty community that has been on youtube for a few years now, i even started my own channel (although i havent uploaded a video in months!) So basically i want to fill this little space on the internet of mine with all things beauty related..e.g. Reviews, tutorials, hauls, outfit of the days, etc....Also along the line if you want to know a bit more about me i will do some of the tags that are floating around and some snips of my life, what ive been doing, where i have been and so on. Oh, and im a crafts geek! So if i make anything i will put up pictures or even tutorials how to make things like keyrings or cards.

So basically this will be about Beauty, Crafts and Me! 

One last thing... you are probably wondering why i have called my blog penguins and cows...well i will let you in on the secret (that is not even a secret) Im a penguin lover..they are just amazing. Little fat men in tuxedo's! :) and the cow side is from my boyfriend.. hes a cow lover (should i be offended??) he definitely has more of an obsession than me..but all the same he has converted me into liking the black and white things!
