Nail Polish Collection

Although this probably isn't my entire collection (my nail polishes like hiding in my bag, car and other places I can't never find them!) it still is not a massive collection compared to some of you out there! I do love nail polish and before working in a coffee shop I would constantly buy them but now I work with food I can't wear any at all..which makes me extremely sad. I live for my weekends where I can wear nail polish! (This is clearly not true but I do love trying different colours)

I store all my polishes in the cake stand I got from homebase HERE..and its now on half price for just £7.49!

I had to cut some card to shape and place them on the bottom of each layer otherwise the nail polishes wouldn't stand up straight.

Barry M are my favourite brand as they are cheap and cheerful. They have a massive range of colours and the quality of them are just amazing.

Collection 2000 is another good cheap brand

The rest are miscellaneous from MUA to Gosh to Sally Hansen to Maybelline.

I went shopping...in Primark!

So I was in Manchester today and had a bit of time to kill so of course I went shopping. Surprisingly I only bought a few things in Primark. Its a boring little haul but I like my purchases! :)

I have wanted a pair of loafers for ages but just never found the right ones. These are still not the exact ones I want but at £8 I couldn't leave them in the shop...that would be just cruel! I do love them though and they are oober comfy!

You cant beat the scarves in Primark.. they are so cheap and they have SO many different designs. This is one of their more 'expensive' scarves in there at £4! bargaroonie!

I am aware this is a very boring top but I love it.. you can wear it casually or really dress it up.. As you can see it was the same price as the scarves! Score!

And lastly (apart from some knickers I bought but I'm really not going to show you them!) is this hat from the mens section.. I did buy it for my boyfriend but when I got home I tried it on and even though I don't think it suits me, its so warm and comfy so it my just stay on my head for a little while longer! ;) oh oh and it cost me just £1!

GlossyBox February 2012

Like my mum pointed out today, about 70% of the excitement from getting a Glossy Box each month is the 'opening the box ceremony'. I get far too giddy to see what is in it.. Its like getting a birthday present every month.
 This month, yet again, Glossy Box didn't fail to impress me. Usually there is always one product I'm not too bothered about (in today's case was the shower gel) but there is always a beauty in there (which today was the lip and cheek stain *love*)

So like I said above the Becca lip and cheek stain is by far my favourite product in this months box. The colour is perfect and brilliant for every day wear and also very buildable. When you only pay £10 a month (plus £2.95 p&p) for the Glossy Box, at 7ml, this is a full size product which cost £20...you do the math.....s!

After a night of girly gossiping with my lovely friend Lindsay (Totally Baked Cakes) I think I have convinced her to join us in the glossy fun!

I got card crafting again...

So since my Valentines cards went down a treat at the coffee shop I decided to sit in bed, watch Take Me Out and make some more! That's what you call a good Sunday my friends! 

This time I went for a few Mother's Day card (remember guys..18th March! It always seems to come around without anyone reminding us!) and also some birthday cards. I did a few extra including a Thank You card and a Good Luck one too. Fingers crossed everyone likes them as much as they did the others! :)

Pixelated Love

Yesterday I saw on The Glue Gun Girl's blog a link to an amazing tutorial of a pixelated pop up card... so, I got a crafts knife and piece of card and hard a go... this was the outcome... (I'm pretty impressed!)

I tried to use my little brain and think of other images in could recreate. So here is my first attempt at a Pacman card! haha! Its rubbish but you get the jist!

Welsh Cakes

Before Christmas I joined in the fun when Weekly Bake Off hosted a secret santa for all of us online craft and cake junkies. My secret santa was from Debs and before I received her package I was a welsh cake virgin! She made me two bags full of all different christmassy shapes.. and they were B.E.A.UTIFUL! My other half kept eating them too without my permission! So since it was his birthday this week I though I would have a bash at making them.. :S I got the reciepe from the BBC food website - Click here for the recipe...
